Square Drop Silver & 24 carat gold Keum Boo earrings.
 
Silver square drop earrings cut to size, soldered and decorated with 24 carat gold all around using Keum Boo method, then oxidised to darken the silver and highlight the contrast gold details. All sides are decorated with the gold abstract design so they look good from all angles. A lovely pair of earrings.
 
Fitted with sterling silver or gold ear wires. Shown here with gold ear wires. Silver Ear wires can be oxidised if required to co-ordinate with the drops.
 
Keum Boo meaning "attached gold" is an ancient jewellery technique originating in Korea, which is used to attach gold to silver. The bonding of gold and silver is achieved through pressure and heat.
